Monte Moro 4×4
Sardinia4Services, offers the opportunity to discover the Monte Moro massif “422 Mt” between Arzachena and Porto Cervo, through an Excursion with Jeep “Land Rover or Freelander 4×4”, which will allow you to discover the most beautiful attractions of this mountain and the beaches of this wonderful and unique location in the world “the Costa Smeralda”.
An easy off-road day but of considerable naturalistic interest, with typical Sardinian vegetation that in some places becomes a forest, with breathtaking views that allow you to see the coasts of Corsica and, on clear days, to the West up to Asinara and to the North to the island of Giglio. The day continues towards the very famous beaches of the Costa Smeralda, without neglecting a stop to visit Porto Cervo, a location famous throughout the world.
The day begins with an appointment, in an area to be agreed with the customer, or, directly with the pick-up from where you are staying, Hotel, Residence, Accommodation facility or private home at 9.30 a.m., you travel a short stretch of state road and then continue on a mixed and winding road between asphalt and dirt for about 6\7 km, until you reach the top of the mountain, where you will leave the Jeeps, to continue on foot for about 20 minutes, along a path immersed in nature and up some natural granite steps, until you reach the highest peak, where you will stop for 15\20 minutes, thus taking the opportunity to document with photos and videos, a panorama that has no equal, from where you can admire a good part of the North-East Coast of Gallura.
We continue with a short transfer on the state road and then, immediately after, immerse ourselves in the uncontaminated and wild nature of a mountain dirt road, which we will travel making short stops for photos and videos, where we will begin to savor and admire some coastal views on the beaches that go from Portisco, up to the inlet of Cala di Volpe, with the backdrop of Porto Rotondo, the gulf of Cugnana Verde and the islands of Mortorio and Sofi, among holm oaks, mastic trees, strawberry trees, prickly pears, lavender, helichrysum.
We will resume the journey towards Porto Cervo, taking a coastal dirt road that runs alongside the most beautiful and famous beaches in the world, Capriccioli, Cala Petra Lunga, Liscia Ruja, Razza di Juncu, Li Intriceddi, Rena Bianca, where in one of these, by prior agreement with the customer, we will make a stop of about 2 hours, to spend a bit of relaxation on one of these wonderful beaches accompanied by a refreshing dip in these clear and unique waters in the world.
During the stop, a tasting of a typical Sardinian aperitif will be prepared, based on Pane Carasau, sausage, “pecorino” cheese, all accompanied by a good glass of red wine, strictly Cannonau di Sardegna, unless the customer, by prior agreement during the booking phase, prefers a real lunch in the farmhouse, based on, appetizer of cold cuts, suckling pig and roast potatoes, accompanied by a side dish of grilled vegetables, dessert with honey, always accompanied by a good red wine, strictly local, myrtle or limoncello.
After the tasting or lunch, we will proceed towards the town of Porto Cervo, where we will stop for about 2 hours to visit this wonderful and unique place in the world, with a walk from the central square, between luxury boutiques, exclusive clubs, to the Tourist Port “Porto Vecchio”, where you can admire the largest yachts in the world moored and walk together with the richest and most famous people on the planet, between pomp and extreme luxury.
Throughout the day the guide will provide a detailed explanation of the history, traditions, habits and customs, flora and fauna of the places you will visit.
Departure at 10 a.m. Return at 4 p.m.
