Costa Smeralda Panoramic Road – Porto Cervo 4×4

Sardinia4Services, offers the possibility to discover a part of the Costa Smeralda, passing from Monte Plebi, with its characteristic country churches, towards San Pantaleo, a small, characteristic village, immersed in the mountains, and then continuing on country roads towards Porto Cervo, with beautiful views, immersed in the typical Sardinian vegetation, composed of Holm oaks, Lentisks, Strawberry trees, Prickly pears, Lavender, Helichrysum, until you skirt the most beautiful and famous beaches of the Costa Smeralda, all with very white sand bathed by turquoise and crystalline water, where you will stop for a bit of relaxation and a nice dip in these wonderful waters, accompanied by a tasting of typical Sardinian products, and then continue to the very famous Hotel Cala di Volpe, with its spectacular Gulf, continuing to Porto Cervo, where you will stop to visit it.

The day begins with an appointment, in an area to be agreed with the customer, or, by prior agreement, with the pick-up from the place of your stay, hotel or private home at 10 a.m. which will continue with the transfer, on the state road to the outskirts of Olbia, where we will take a road, which will take us, between climbs and hairpin bends towards the summit of Monte Plebi, where you can make a short stop, to take photos of the panorama that offers a total view of all of Olbia and its Gulf.

We will continue on a dirt road, skirting a small country church, “La Madonna delle Grazie”, immersed in typical Sardinian vegetation, including holm oaks, mastic trees, until we reach the state road that connects Olbia with Arzachena, in the direction of San Pantaleo.

After a short transfer by road towards Arzachena, we will take a dirt road that will take us to the characteristic village of San Pantaleo, a small town in the hinterland of the Costa Smeralda, surrounded by remarkable native vegetation and reddish granite mountains, where you can stop, in the center of the town, for about 30\40 in., to visit this small but particular village, with its characteristic shops, with its totally artisanal products and with its typical places located in the central square, which offer the possibility, for those who wish, to enjoy a good aperitif.

Immediately after, we return to the Jeeps to continue the Tour, towards the Costa Smeralda, passing through a dirt road that will allow us to be immersed in nature again, where we can make further stops, for photos and videos, such as to immortalize beautiful views, including a portion of the Coast that goes, from Portisco, to the inlet that hosts the Hotel Cala di Volpe, with the backdrop of the Gulf of Cugnana, Porto Rotondo and the islands of Mortorio and Sofi.

We will resume the journey, with a short transfer on the state road towards Porto Cervo, where, at the foot of the Hotel Cala di Volpe, a dirt road will enter that runs alongside the most beautiful and famous beaches in the world such as Capriccioli, Cala Petra Lunga, Liscia Ruja, Razza di Juncu, Li Intriceddi, Rena Bianca, where in one of these, by prior agreement with the customer, a stop of about 2 hours will be made, to spend a bit of relaxation on one of these wonderful beaches accompanied by a refreshing dip in these waters that for their colors and clarity, make them unique.

During the stop, a tasting of a typical Sardinian aperitif will be prepared, based on Pane Carasau, sausage, “pecorino” cheese, all accompanied by a good glass of red wine, strictly Cannonau di Sardegna, unless the customer, by prior agreement during the booking phase, prefers a real lunch in the farmhouse, based on, appetizer of cold cuts, suckling pig and roast potatoes, accompanied by a side dish of grilled vegetables, dessert with honey, always accompanied by a good red wine, strictly local, myrtle or limoncello.

We will resume the journey towards the town of Porto Cervo, where we will leave the Jeeps in the parking lot, for a stop of about 2 hours, continuing on foot, to have the opportunity to visit this wonderful and unique place in the world, with a walk that from the center, between luxury boutiques, exclusive clubs, arrives to the Tourist Port “Porto Vecchio”, where you can admire the largest yachts in the world moored and browse the life that these people lead, among the richest and wealthiest on the planet, between pomp and extreme luxury.
